"it is a pleasure to be greeted by smiling faces"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Day surgery

(as the patient),

This was my third visit to New Victoria Hospital and I must say it is a pleasure to be greeted by smiling faces and a warm welcome even though the may be having an off day themselves, by this I mean the nursing staff. Only 1 point I was to get an xray which the surgeon organised but when it was time to get my procedure done and asked about the xray I had to tell them I had not had it yet, although it was not a problem to me. As I had to wait he thought someone had forgotten to have me taken down to get an xray later than he expected. Apart from this hicup it was a pleasant experience in hospital

Nice to read this posting. It is indeed a pleasure to be greeted by smiling faces and get a warm welcome.

Costs us nothing and something we should all strive to do - we know it makes a difference to patients and colleagues.

Well done Victoria Hospital. Thanks for sharing Row 89
