(as a service user),

My journey (as everyone says these days) has been the best one of my life because of the care, support, and understanding of all the staff at the Edward Myers Unit. I have now realised I can have a life and a good quality of life. I have gained confidence and faced some fears - I feel I have been given tools to use to make my life healthy and enjoyable.

The staff are here for you 24/7 and give kind sound advice, they help you feel like a person not an idiot. I now have regained contact with my wonderful children, what greater gift is there than that? I wish I had done this years ago and to anyone who has doubts please stick in there, it works. Thank you all so much. : )
