"Medway Hospital Experience"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

Anything else?

My 70 year old wife was rushed by ambulance to the Medway Hospital early this morning after passing out with a suspected heart attack, only to be left in a chair in the waiting room. After sitting for one hour of a three hour wait we could stand no more and had to discharge ourself as my wife would be far better of at home in bed instead of putting up with all the stress of A&E. Now we find that the blood tests that were taken may be discarded and the results withheld. God help us all.

We are very sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with your recent visit to the Emergency Department. To enable us to understand your concerns more clearly, and provide you with some answers, we would encourage you to contact our PALS team by telephone on 01634 825004 or 01634 830000 x5793 or by email at Pals@medway.nhs.uk. The experience patients have at the hospital is very important to us and we'd like to hear your concerns in more detail.
