"Speedy help from the Crisis Team"

About: South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust / Crisis resolution

(as a service user),

Was feeling extremely low and needed professional mental health team to speak to.

Was asked if I'd prefer a short term stay within a psychiatric hospital or if I'd prefer home visits from the crisis intervention team. I'd told them I'd prefer home visits as I would like to be near my family.

Within 48 hours after been assessed, I was visited by the crisis intervention team and re-assessed and was asked if I would like a referral for psychology, which I now have an appointment for and am very satisfied with the effort, friendliness and the timing of all the help and support I received.

I feel so much better knowing there is help and support out there.
