I got driven to Bridgnorth Hospital last May as it is our local community hospital and I had taken a rather nasty tumble from my pony and was in quite a lot of pain on the left side of my chest. The staff were absolutely fantastic to me, with swift, efficient care and pain relief!! It turned out I had broken six ribs and damaged my spleen. I cannot thank the staff enough for looking after me prior to my transfer to Telford. I did pop in a few weeks later to say thanks again, when I was feeling a little more mobile and also saw the same radiologist some five months later for a repeat chest x-ray who was really lovely. A very big thank you to all of you, if you remember me!

I am really sorry to know that you had a fall which resulted in some serious damage. Hope you have recovered well now.

We really appreciate your taking the time to post your story on Patient Opinion, your feedback and very kind words about our services do mean a lot to us. This helps us to identify areas where improvement is needed but comments like this help staff to remain motivated and focused on their objective, patient care. Thank you for your invaluable feedback, I will share this with all staff at Bridgnorth including the radiologist as this can be a very powerful and rewarding tool for staff who work tirelessly to provide a good service to patients.
