Mum stayed in Bolsover many weeks following a fall and cracking her pelvis. Staff were lovely particularly a young student girl who took special time and effort with mum. There were tears when she had to leave on both sides. Mum felt secure, cared for and confident in her surroundings. Whilst she couldn't really get involved with activities she liked watching and talking to people. This review refers to a previous admittance, mum is currently (Jan 2013) in Royal Chesterfield where we are having big problems, and a formal complaint meeting - things are now starting to happen 11 days from admittance, mainly centred on lack of nursing, starving through wrong diet, dehydrated through being comatose etc........ We expect mum will again go to Bolsover for rehab, once the medical issues are sorrted. She can't wait.
