"Experience of Selby Minor Injuries Unit"

About: The New Selby War Memorial Hospital / Minor injuries unit

(as a relative),

After a fall and a sprained wrist my wife was directed to Selby Minor Injuries Unit. Having experienced numerous A&Es this filled us with dread, how wrong we were.

It was bright, light and airy, we were seen almost immediately by Tim the Nurse Practitioner, who arranged for an X-ray even though the receptionist had told us "they don't do X-rays this late".

What a brilliant experience, thanks so much to Tim and the Radiologist, top marks to them but reduced marks to the receptionist.

Contrary to popular myth receptionists are not in charge nor, believe it or not, do they know everything.....customer service is a broad subject.
