"If I could be treated at home that would help me"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as other),

[The following are comments made by service users during 2012 to South Western Ambulance Service Foundation Trust (SWASFT) as part of a service review. SWASFT met with several patients attending a number of support groups and asked them to share their experiences with the Trust with a view to develop and improve the service. The information was supplied anonymously as part of group and individual conversations. We are grateful to receive constructive comments.]

If I could be treated at home that would help me feel that I can keep the event private.

Explaining each part of the treatment and movement is helpful (continued monologue) – as long as it is informative and not condescending.

I wouldn’t ask for my details to be kept private, or for more care to be taken with my details. However I would like to be asked about it.
