"Visited Triage after midwife referral. Awful..."

About: Queen Charlotte's Hospital

Anything else?

Visited triage maternity centre at QCCH on Friday 25th. This was a referral after seeing my midwife who was concerned about baby's movements and I also needed a blood test. On arrival The nurses spoke to me as if I was a total inconvenience to their day. I was treated with complete disrespect the entire time and was asked to tell my midwife to not refer me again as it is a waste of their time. I am 31 weeks pregnant with my first child and recently lost a loved one. All I wanted was some professional reassurance and to be told my baby was ok. After all this I still had to ask for the blood test, they replied.. What for? Hadn't even read my maternity notes. I left the hospital in tears and can only hope the care improves as I getting closer to due date.
