Whilst under anaesthetic, I was asked whether I would like to have a coil inserted, and although I was given all the information required in order to give informed consent, I did feel like I was a bit hurried into making a decision, and although glad to have made the decision to do so, I think I should have been asked this prior to being anaesthetised.
