About: Royal National Throat, Nose & Ear Hospital

Anything else?

I attended the hospitals emergency department at 2pm on the 10/01/13. I saw the triage nurse after about an hour and a half, and it then waited another hour and a half to see the Dr and commence treatment.

Once I received the treatment I was happy with it, however I felt the waiting time for treatment was excessive and there was no communication as to why the long wait, although I did receive an apology from both the Dr and nurse for the wait. I did ask the nurse how long I would be waiting to see the Dr but she couldn’t answer this.
