"Gastrocopy"

Hi,

Just had another endoscopy/Gastrocopy today, had the last one about 18 months ago. Problem is reflux, nothing sinister found today, so good news so far. I want to make this clear to anyone who is getting this procedure,that despite in both cases having excellent care by the nurses, it is VERY unpleasant. Don't be fooled by the slightly unpleasant notes on web pages etc, it is stressful. You will gag half of the time and will need reassurance from the medical staff as its awful, truly.... It doesnt last long however, today was about 5 mins, so you can put up with it, but just be prepared thats all, its not fun !!!
