"my experience with the Queens Hospital"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

Anything else?

i have been dealing with the Ortopic department for over a year now, the appointment takes maybe 5 minutes then they give another appointment that could be 3 months apart. they do not treat the problem, and all they seem to want me to do is buy special shoes privately. the complaint procedure is not easily accessible. i take time off work to go to these appointments and the least i would expect is for them to take the time to treat me.

Dear Anonymous,

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments about your orthopaedic care at Queen’s Hospital. I was sorry to read of your concerns.

I note that you have experienced some difficulty in making a complaint. You can obtain a copy of the Trust’s Complaint Leaflet from our website or alternatively you can email the Complaints Team at complaints@bhrhospitals.nhs.uk, and they will ensure that you receive a leaflet.

Yours sincerely,

Gary Etheridge

Deputy Director of Nursing
