Recently I had a Pacemaker / Leads removal and new Pacemaker/Leads implant at Glenfield. My Surgeon and his fantastic theatre team ensured that my Operation was a complete sucess and I was discharged the following day, since then I have made a good recovery.

I would also wish that the Staff on Ward 34 be commended. Under the supervision of the Ward Manager, my admission, pre-op care and post-op care could not be faulted. I had a somewhat disturbed nights sleep and the night staff could not have been more attentive.. My thanks to all the staff of Ward 34 who were, to a person cheerful, efficient and as patient-centred as one could wish for.

Glenfield Hospital should be very proud of its Cardiac Unit, to me a model for the NHS.
