"Angiogram and Angioplasty"

About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital

Anything else?

On 17th December I attended the Cath Lab for an Angiogram. All the staff were very helpful and understanding. After the proceedure I was told by one of the Drs that I needed Angioplasty, where a stent wopuld be fitted. Before I left, they explained it all to me and gave me a date for it, being 8th January.

Once again I was very nervous, but received good care and reassurance from all the staff in the Cath Lab.

I was then transferred to the Copronary Care Unit for the night, and again found everyone so kind, helpful and reassuring. During the night I had to ring my bell for assistance and was not kept waiting at all.

I couldn't fault (nor would I want to) the care and treatment I received.
