I was a patient in the Day Surgery at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham for the treatment of skin cancer. The standard of care I received was good, and the whole service was much more efficient and caring than I expected it to be prior to going in to the Day Surgery.
The main improvement which needs to be made is to the aftercare procedure, as it took 5 weeks after attending the Surgery before I received any results for the biopsy - this I considered to be much too long a wait.
