I just wanted to say how happy i am with the service that i receive at Cottage Hospital. I was recently referred there by my consultant to have support with my Methotrexate treatment. This is delivered by Healthcare at home. I was really worried about having to inject myself.

I attended to see the Specialist Nurse. She explained everthing to me in a very balanced manner, she described side effects, obtaining the deliverys, and then finally how to do the injection. I was so worried i was watching her lips moving but not hearing what she was saying as the time got nearer to administer. She was great and reassured me and took through the process very slowly. I gave myself my first Methotrexate injection that day The following week she trained my husband to do the injection.. I attend now to have the rteatment monitored. I have now been injecting Methotrexate once a week for five weeks. Thankyou all at Cottage hospital for your support and especially Heather for all the support and guidance given..
