Anything else?
I took my 99 year old mother to have problems with memory assessed. I was then promised I would be be given help and advice on managing her condidtion. When this did not materialise I phoned the hospital to ask why I had not received any contact from them.
Since then I have phoned many times, but have been passed from pillar to post by staff in the Memory Assessment Dept. Return calls are promised but never materialise. The usual excuses are they are off sick, on holiday or are not then available, but they will call me back. This never happens. It is if my mother is the first patient they have have ever had to deal with, with this problem.
