My op was moved from Southampton General Hospital to the Spire at quite short notice. At first I was a little sceptical. With the Spire being private, I wasn't sure whether NHS patients would receive the same level of service as private patients. However, I couldn't be more wrong. Right from the start, from the staff that check you in, the nursing staff, catering staff, porters, the physiotherapists, the anaesthetist and of course my consultant were all excellent. I was kept informed throughout my stay, nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

Overall I would highly recommend this hospital. Is you're an NHS patient and your treatment is moved here, you will receive excellent care in my opinion.
