Having been assured of ambulance transport home after 4 weeks in hospital I was shoved into a taxi in my hospital gown with a blanket at 8.30 pm. Nobody bothered to enquire as to whether there was anyone at home to help me out of the taxi and into my home. The taxi driver was unwilling to take the responsibilty and I had to rely on my elderly wife to help me. I am utterly disgusted!
