"sons hip fracture following road traffic accident"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

After 18 days our son has just arrived home following an emergency hip operation to fixate his pelvis following a road traffic accident before christmas. Just wanted to say how fantastic all of the staff at Hull Royal infirmary have been, special thanks to surgeon who we believe performed the 4 hour operation, all the other surgeons who assisted, all the staff on the icu, the staff on ward 9 and prior to discharge ward 4. We cant praise them higlyh enough for getting him back home following such a traumatic time, but as important working with a smile on their faces and keeping us informed about his well being. It will be a long road of recovery to finally walk again but he has had the best treatment we could ever of hoped for and hope one day in the future he will walk into the various wards to thank all the staff for himself.
