"Let down by consultant's treatment of my foot pain at Cannock Chase Hospital "

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

The Traqs team were very quick to respond, polite and provided a very good service.

Unfortunately, they were then let down by the poor attitude of the hospital's consultant when I saw him in November. The consultant asked almost no questions about my lifestyle yet decided that my foot pain was due to my flat feet rather than unassociated tendon or skeletal damage due to the sports I take part in. He spent less than 3 minutes with me, it would have been less than one if I hadn't asked questions.

For a consultation about foot pain, I was amazed that the consultant didn't pay any close attention to my feet, he didn't sit me on the bed to feel my feet, despite me being able to pinpoint my pain to a very specific area.

Very poor service yet again from the NHS.

Dear 'Click500' thank you for taking the time to reply and provide feedback following your referral via TRAQS.

It is rewarding for the TRAQS team to hear that you found the service we provide to be very good.

It is very disappointing to hear that you had such a poor experience at Cannock Chase Hospital as we have previously received good reports from patients who have received treatment there.

We would like to thank you again for taking the time to give us feedback at TRAQS.
