"Thank you to everyone who cared for my mother"

My 94 year old mother recently spent nearly three weeks as a patient in Capel Ward and I wanted to express my praise for all the staff who work there - consultants and doctors, nursing staff and ancillaries - who were all marvellous.

All the of the staff were caring, considerate and very friendly. At all times they treated my mother with respect and warmth.

I live in Cornwall so was only able to visit irregularly as well as the closing of the ward to visitors because of the norovirus, but I never worried about the care she was receiving because from my first visit onwards I could tell she was in safe hands.

My thanks to everyone who came into contact with my mother - I am very grateful.
