What I liked
The staff are obviously under an immense amount of pressure, however, they remained courteous and polite as well as being informative and still displayed compassion. These people are a true testament to how the NHS survives such awful decisions from a government that is supposed to help its citizens.
What could be improved
As a serving police officer, I can honestly say that I have seen custody suites more appealing and hospitable than the worn down, dirty looking waiting area and facilities at this hospital. This hospital is more like a run down barrack block. The parking facilities are laughable. The layout and road markings of the grounds are worn and poorly thought out.
Anything else?
It is a wonder that the wonderful staff remain so motivated to help the public when given such poor facilities to work in. Part of me thinks that the hospital would be more efficient if the grounds were levelled and a field hospital was put in its place. Wake up and smell the coffee government!!!
"A custody suite is more welcoming."
