My relative was admitted to hospital as an emergency during December 2012.
Nothing was explained to family members; no clear diagnosis; patient left with too many unanswered questions; got much sicker whilst in there; experienced severe distress and pain.
We were virtually 'ignored'; doctors would not answer any questions; virtually no information, even diagnosis given.
Prior to admission x-ray/scan results not passed on to GP for a week whilst patient was suffering severe pain, breathlessness, acute distress.
I will be taking it up via PALS and making official complaint.
