What I liked

The rheumatology team in particular are superb. They have helped me so much. The doctor made particular efforts to work with the neurology department on my behalf and both he and the nurse gave me the care and medication I needed to improve. Thank you so much. Please keep the rheumatology service at this hospital. It is much needed for people like me with lifelong conditions who cannot always travel long distances to access the care we need due to our health conditions.

What could be improved

The Administration / reception team really lets down the rest of the service.

There really is an attitude amongst most of the admin team that patients are a nuisance to be dealt with. You often see them chatting away in the back office blithely ignoring the fact there is a queue waiting for them at the front.

There is also always a reluctance to give you another appointment and I have had to complain twice in order to get follow on appointments for my condition even though these have been requested by my consultant!
