What I liked
Car park staff very helpful in helping me find a space. Much appreciated.
What could be improved
Attended RPH for a blood test. Number 58 displayed on the wall I got ticket 62. Waited 34 minutes before being called through. Staff member was obviously having a very bad day and was terse, condescending and rude when I nicely asked for the blood to be taken from my left arm. Jabbed the needle in like they couldn't care less while making some patronising comments about varying which arm I should have blood taken from.
I'm not on my own in having enough to deal with taking anti cancer drugs than to have someone being downright rude for no reason other than they were having a bad day.
I'm sorry to say 4 blood tests in 35 minutes isn't good enough either! No wonder the Health Service is leaking money.
Anything else?
My overall treatment has been pretty good for the last year, but the Haematology Department staff member I saw today needs to get some Customer Service training or become a Prison Guard.
