What I liked

This was my first experience of hospital treatment for a very long time and the care I received was exceptional. From the initial trip in an ambulance with two highly efficient and kind paramedics, through a&e to the consultant and subsequent tests, terminating with a few hours in Ward 20 and an angiogram in theatre, I was impressed by the professionalism, efficiency and kindness of the staff. This was without exception.

What could be improved

The uncertainty of parking and the need to pay for a long period when merely dropping off a patient.. We are probably over-careful.

We are very pleased that you had such a good experience at each stage of your recent visit to Airedale Hospital and grateful for the positive comments you have made. These will be passed to the staff concerned. We would also like to thank you for pointing out the concern that can be felt by relatives when parking and not knowing how long this should be for. We do recognise this can be stressful and apologise to you and other visitors to the hospital who have been faced with this dilemma.
