"Had a good and very bad experience."

What I liked

Hi, I really appreciate the kind of hardship the midwives go through.... But our experience left us in a shock! The baby was breach till 38 weeks on 39th week checkup the baby turned and was engaged properly then till 40 weeks 4 days she started having pains we went to the hospital at around 4am.. The staff we had seen was excellent till 7.30 then staff changed new midwife was awesome was very clear was encouraging to do the right things till afternoon there were any improvements they suggested for induced labour and epidural was given and was going fine with the new staff friendly and helping by 7.30pm shift changed by then new midwife was all alone nobody was there to help her or assist her at any cost she was doing all the paperwork explaining everything etc and all the bits and bobs and was asking my wife to push as well. baby boy was born at 9.05pm she was all alone a doctor came wiped the baby gave the baby in my hands and wished me and left... My wife was exhausted and was bleeding heavily. midwife said she needed the stitches. I went to the desk and asked for the help , at first lady at the desk, senior staff, said she ll send somebody in five minutes. After an hour and a half with all the efforts the midwife in the room managed to put the stitches and said she just wanted to reassure what she has done is right and was waiting for someone to come and see. I went to the desk again to ask if someone is available lady turned her face to the other side as she looked at me.. It's a shame till we were ready to shift to ward no one came and assisted the poor lady at around 4am in the morning.... Hope no one experiences the same thing for such stupid things.....
