What could be improved

THe wards were filthy, dried blood on the bedstead ( not my mothers) cups left on tables for days, until I cleaned them away. Dirt under the bed must have been there for weeks,

Rude lazy staff, looking at the internet when patients needed care.

Weekends were especially bad, when may be one auxiliery nurse was available.

We had to argue to see a Consultant, who was rude and arrogant.

Food was left out of reach. Water was not readily available.

THe nurses station was dirty, untidy and generally disorganised.

They had written the old people off.

My mother is now in Stoke Mandeville where we could not be happier with the service and buildings.

Anything else?

I will make sure that me or any of my family ever hae to stay in High Wycombe General Hospital.
