My husband had a stroke and was then rushed to Derriford on life support. He had part of his brain removed. Intensive care staff and the surgeon were brilliant. He then went on a ward and it went down hill from there. Some staff were good, others were not. He had some physio and then they are sending him home and discharging him because he can walk a few yards.
I don't think he's going to cope at home like they say he is. He's got bed rails to help him in hospital. How is he going to do it at home with no aids to help him?How can they send someone home with no help at all?
