My daughter was taken to hospital by ambulance after fainting. She couldn't form a sentence. The ambulance staff were treating her like she was on drugs and were questioning her even though she was barely conscious.

I'm with my daughter all the time and if she goes to college she is never left alone as she is disabled. She was taken in but I was left outside, she has learning difficulties and I'm her carer.

Eventually I was called in. She had some blood taken when she was on her own. No one explained what had happened. After a long wait I asked for a blanket as she was freezing. A nurse who was asked by someone at the desk to get it gave me a dirty look several times and stood around for ages before finally getting a blanket as I had to plead with her.

A workman fitted something to the wall inches from her, there were enough empty cubicles for her to be moved so this didn't happen.

Even though my daughter was in a dreadful state she was sent home without finding out why she kept passing out and she was sick in the taxi on the way home. I had to get a taxi as she couldn't walk far. It cost £28 as we live in Horsham.

I'm upset my daughter was treated so badly. She is terrified of hospitals now.

Thanks again for another comment.

I note that you had to travel to and from Horsham to visit East Surrey Hospital's Emergency Department. Did you know that there is a walk-in Minor Injuries Unit at Horsham Hospital? I hope you or your daughter don't need any urgent treatment again, but if you do, it might be easier for you to visit Horsham Hospital.

When someone passes out and has a heart monitor booked in a few days time booked at another hospital it's not a minor injury problem.

I am aware of Horsham hospital as I have lived in Horsham for 20 years and I have been there before for minor Injuries, however on this occasion my daughter has continued to be very ill she has been off college for a long time and this has had a big impact on her life. She can usually play sport and she just got weaker every day, not only that she kept passing out and on this occasion I phoned an ambulance as she was in a dreadful state, she had got ready for college and collapsed on the floor of the bedroom and couldn't talk when she was coming round.

She has continued to have problems when walking and has to keep resting and to date has still not been diagnosed.
