"Treated with care, respect and dignity"

I was admitted on to SAU at short notice, looked after by a very professional team.

I was greeted instantly and shown to a side room by the receptionist. I was then greeted by the ward manager who came in and completed all my 'assessment paper work' she was lovely, so friendly and comforting.

I was seen by the anaesthetist and the surgeon shortly after who again were very professional but personal.

In fact every member of staff I met during my stay I can say treated me with respect and dignity at such an intensely emotional, awful time for me.

The hospital was clean, I was given a choice of food and drink and I have to say I can't complain about a thing.
