About: Telford and Wrekin PCT Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

Health care at my local surgery has been excellent when I have eventually managed to obtain an appointment to see my GP. Obtaining an appointment to see the GP of my choice (who has been following my health problems closely) can be very difficult and frustrating. This actually led to me writing a letter to obtain an appointment as soon as possible. Once I had seen her treatment and referral to hospital was quick.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback for TRAQS.

We are a new service providing help and support for the patients registered with GPs within the NHS Telford and Wrekin area when they require a referral to a hospital or community clinic for further treatment.

We value all feedback as it helps us to develop the TRAQS service further.

If you have problems booking an appointment at your GP practice with the GP of your Choice it may be a good idea to ask to speak to the Practice Manager and discuss this problem further.
