"Good experience of hip replacement at Pilgrim Hospital"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was recently an inpatient at the Pilgrim Hospital in Boston, undergoing a total hip replacement, and want make known that the staff made the experience as comfortable as possible.

Everyone from ladies who cleaned my ward (Ward 3a) to my surgeon Mr Deshmukh always treated me with gentleness, dignity and carefulness. In addition the meals were always excellent and piping hot. This made a potentially painful procedure very bearable.

Thank you very much for recognising the care our staff delivered. I have passed your feedback to all the staff concerned and they were delighted to hear this. I have also forwarded your feedback to our catering department. The staff are all committed to delivering the trust's dignity pledges and it was good to hear that you had such a positive experience. Thank you again for your kind feedback.
