My mum was admitted to MAU for kidney failure, she was transferred to trauma ward for a few more days, but MAU lost her toiletries. Staff were friendly and helpful on the trauma unit.
They helped my mum who is 90 and almost blind to wash and do her hair.
Then she was moved to ward 41, she was miserable and the staff I met were not helpful. Visiting was limited and this caused mum lots of anxiety.
The ward smelled very strong of urine, which to me was completely unnecessary if staff were doing their job properly. The staff I saw were unhelpful and not friendly.
