What could be improved
My GP has referred me to Cardiology in Durham. I followed instructions to make the appointment. The Central Booking asked me to name a consultant and I offered a choice of two. I was then referred to the local appointments office. I was told that they would get back to me. Nothing has happened. Today I have received an appointment from the Central Booking office with different consultant. for some seven weeks ahead. My attempts to speak to the Booking Office have been cut off, my wishes have been completely ignored, I find the whole system to be clumsy and unresponsive to the user.
This seems to be a bad system.
Anything else?
