What I liked

I attended out-patients clinic on Friday 16th November following an urgent referral by my GP. A trans-rectal ultrasound scan and biopsy was recommended with a waiting time of approx 4 weeks. However, the following Monday I was contacted by phone and offered a cancellation appointment on Wednesday afternoon 21st November.

The clinic was efficient and all the staff were very professional and understanding . The procedures to be followed were explained in a clear and reassuring manner and the whole appointment lasted less than one hour and a quarter (I had been told to expect to be there for about 2 hours).
