"It really does depend on what department you have..."

What I liked

I have rated the visit on September.... the other departments would be a lot lower in fact one would be very low in deed to be honest.

The only good thing about all the departments I have to see is the consultants and the staff are really nice but the treatment I am afraid, or lack of in the other 2, is not that good!

What could be improved

In some departments the lack of money is denning patients a chance to have some medication that could actually help..... You at Treliske know which departments they are!

It seems that patients are not given the kind of help they do get up country. That really does need to change.

Anything else?

I really do have to say it depends on what department you have to go and see..... I am 'under' 3 and only one is good... one is doing nothing to actually control the condition and the other... Well best not go there!

I feel very strongly that I would get better help if I moved to be honest in respect of the other 2.

It seems (as a patient) that its all about money and cost cutting..... You know someone in Treliske should realise that patients do have feelings and do need a lot more care and help in some of the departments......

I am left to rot by one department and only pain control by another all because of money. Just feel sidetracked and basically abandoned.

As I get more ill I do think about laving Cornwall.... I am Cornish and that would be some move BUT the lack of actual treatment and lack of choice re what hospital you see does mean that there could well be better treatment even in Devon!

Its wrong that Treliske has become so cost cutting and forgotten basic patient care and not giving the help they need. Its all about money and we know it!

I also feel for the staff as their moral can not be too hight just now!
