What I liked
Polite reception , and triage, and very friendly radiographer
What could be improved
Utterly useless doctor / final assessor. Severe sprained wrist, told nothing needed to help with the healing, even when mentioning severe pain with slight movement. Not only told nothing I need to do but rest, even told (in opposition to that advice - at the same time!) that need to keep it mobile at the same time as resting. Tell me how that makes sense! Communication skills very poor.
Don't know if he was a student or not, either way he needs to go back o learning the basics. I only went along to check I had not fractured my wrist, luckily I know how to look after a sprained wrist, I just wanted it checking as there was severe pain from a rugby tackling incident. No offer of stabilising my wrist, but even if the NHS were trying to save money on items like that, correct and helpful advice should not be restricted surely!
Anything else?
Get rid of the useless doctor, happy to be seen by the triage nurse for everything!
"Lack of knowledge worries me!"
