"Excellent, well-run hospital, making the most of..."

What I liked

The nursing was very kind and efficient, everything one could have wanted at a difficult time. The surgery and the work of the surgical team seems to have been very effective. The ancillary services (stoma nursing etc) were excellent.

What could be improved

The food was unimaginative and far from appetising even when I reached the stage of hoping to enjoy it. I had the impression that it was being prepared down to a fairly tight budget!

Anything else?

Car parking for visitors was hopeless and expensive. For staff it was non-existent - not a fair burden on such excellent people.
