About: Rotherham Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I was a patient in the Coronary Care Unit of the Rotherham District General hospital in September 2007. The care which I received whilst there was very good - the doctors and nurses were excellent in their attitude towards the patients.

The wards could have been cleaner, particularly with regards to the toilets and shower rooms.

Thank you to all staff of the C.C.U.

Thank you for your kind comments about the care you received whilst a patient at the hospital; we will ensure the staff are made aware of them.

With regard to the wash room facilities we recognise that these are worn and in need of modernisation and are currently undergoing a programme of refurbishment throughout the hospital. Unfortunately the ward you stayed on was one of the last for the work to be started. We hope to improve the services shortly in this area.
