After deteriorating rapidly my Mother, after two weeks in hospital, was transferred to Hawkesyard Care Home in March 2012.
An appointment came through from MAC (South Staffordshire Memory Service) for July 2012. An hour long appointment with my Mum, myself and a lady from the service happened, during which time she felt that my Mum would benefit from two extra tablets. She said she would keep me informed.
Neither the home or I have heard anything since, until another appointment has come through for late December. On ringing MAC to find out why nothing had happened since the first visit, the person at the end of the phone was very matter of fact, but couldn't answer my queries. He suggested me ringing someone else in the team.
I am not happy with this service, especially as the suggested tablets could have improved Mum's standard of life.
