"First class care of my mother-in-law, Glasgow Royal Infirmary"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary

(as a relative),

My mother in law sadly passed away last week in ICU of the Royal Infirmary Glasgow. However she received superb tretment and care during her time there.

There is an amazing team there, with each person I spoke with being completely respectful not only towards patients but also to visitors. I cannot thank them enough and I wish my comments to be passed on. I am delighted that these wonderful and talented people are part of our NHS.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to provide your very kind feedback. I am sorry to hear that your mother in law passed away and my condolences to you and your family.

With regards to your comments about the team on the ICU ward, I will ensure that these are passed on to those involved and I am sure that they will be very pleased to read your comments.

I am sorry that this posting was not acknowledged at the time, we had a break in our use of Patient Opinion, but we have now resumed doing so, and I thought it was still important to acknowledge your posting and where appropriate to pass comments on.

Once again, thank you for using the Patient Opinion feedback system, it is greatly appreciated.

I know that the staff in service at the ICU Unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary will be delighted to read your very thoughtful and uplifiting remarks.
