Although I live in Leicestershire, I attended the Robert Peel Hospital in Tamworth for a Hernia operation, thanks to the choose and book system allowing me to minimise the waiting period.
I cannot speak too highly of the service I received from the staff on the surgical ward during my stay yesterday.
However I was surprised to receive an unwarranted telephone call today from a company selling mobility aids. I didn't get the name but the STD code shows they are based in Stoke on Trent, Staffs. Too much of a coincidence for my liking. Has my number been forwarded by the hospital, or unofficially by a member of staff?
Checking the phone number of the company brought up a lot of complaints about this company. Has any one else had a similar experience?
