"This dentist is a credit to his profession"

I finally made myself an appointment to go to the dentists after a few years of not going. Like a lot of people I have experienced some not so good dentists in the past, which is probably why I had put it off. Now I wouldn't go as far to say that I'm scared of the dentist, but it certainly isn't on my top ten list.

Anyway on this occasion I went and the dentist, Joe Clarke, I saw was one I had never seen before, and he was a real breath of fresh air. He explained everything that he was going to do and seemed genuinely interested in my experiences and really put me at ease. After my check up he explained I'd need two fillings, which wasn't a surprise to me.

When I went back for the first one, I must admit to being a little nervous but again his manner put me at ease. Similarly with the second, although this time I felt much more relaxed about the whole thing (although still not a fan of having needles in my mouth! ).

I really think this dentist is a true credit to his profession and to the practice and me singing his praises has even made my other half (who hasn't been to the dentist in over 15 years) consider going.
