After the birth of my baby, the health visitor came to our house to take blood samples of our baby for newborn screening.
She took the blood sample and it was sent for tests. All the details were mentioned in the red book and also the stickers that they print to make sure information is correct.
We received the blood results report and I am aghast to see the mistakes in it. Personal details like mother's name, baby's surname and ethnic origin are incorrect.
I wonder if I can really trust the blood results, if NHS staff cannot feed in the details correctly?
