"Excellent care but poor cleanliness in Whiston A&E"

I was recently admitted to Whiston Hospital A&E after it was suspected that I had had a heart attack. The standard of care was very good - I was most impressed with the efficiency with which my case was handled. In my opinion, nothing could have been better with the treatment I was given.

The only negative point to make is that the cleanliness was poor - in a toilet in A&E, there was dry blood on the wall, and the soap dispenser was empty and hanging from the wall.
