My elderly mother had a fall, so I took her in to the Queen's Medical Centre in order to have an x-ray. The service was very poor - it was very slow; the A&E doctor could have been a lot more polite and less bad-tempered; it would also have been nice to have been listened to at certain points. The A&E doctor made me feel very angry, as he made us feel as if we were wasting his time.
If I had not insisted on my mother having an x-ray she would have been sent home without one. As her GP had requested the x-ray, I think more credence should have been given to that request.
