"Whittington hospital good for walk-in diagnostics"

I was referred by my GP for various diagnostic scans & tests, and attended the same day as part of a walk-in service. There was hardly any wait (weekday, 3pm). The new part of the hospital inspires confidence - bright, airy and clean.

In contrast the rooms in the ECG department were somewhat hot (the staff couldn't turn the heating down as it was controlled centrally) and the vents in the ceiling were crammed full of dust. I'm not sure how confident I'd feel about going there for anything invasive, but in terms of speed of diagnostic services I'd give them top marks.
